ISEA 2023 SYMBIOSIS

Common Datum is an environmentally reactive, hygroscopic sculpture enabling a material based interspecies dialogue. The work continuously absorbs humidity from the gallery – generated through the breath of the audience - feeding a series of plants. Common Datum is situated across digital craft, environmental, and participatory art.
